I want to start or expand a business.  What is the market potential?

Sulphur Springs is uniquely located on I-30 between Paris, Greenville, and Mount Pleasant.  It is the largest community near Lake Fork, which has 150,000 visitors each year.  Interstate 30 has approximately 30,000 cars per day travel through the community.   The County has 35,000 people and the City population is 15,000. The market pulls from 100,000+ static regional citizens and numerous transit visitors.  Sulphur Springs is approximately one hour from Dallas.

I need more information before starting or expanding my business in Sulphur Springs.  Who do I contact?

The first point of contact is the Community Development office.  We will ask and answer questions and walk you through each process.  We will identify other contacts that may be able to assist you.

How long will a permit take to be issued?

If all the required items are submitted with the permit package, it will take 3-5 days.

What items are required to be submitted with the permit package in order to get a building permit?
