REGULAR MEETING  MINUTES

OCTOBER 18, 2004

CALL REGULAR MEETING TO ORDER

Planning and Zoning Chairman Bryan Baier called the regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission to order at 7:00 P.M..

DISCUSSION/ACTION MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING HELD 9/20/04

A motion was made by Roy Pelton  and seconded by Craig Roberts to approve the Planning and Zoning Meeting Minutes of September 20, 2004. Motion carried, all voting aye.

DISCUSSION/ACTION ZONING CASE NO. 041001:

A motion was made by Vice Chairman Gary Spraggins, seconded by Commissioner Roy Pelton to approve  a zoning request by Gregg Price for property located at 1505 Mockingbird Lne., being further described as Lot 3, Block 210-300 from Single Family (SF-6) to Single Family Attached (SF-A). Owner Gregg Price was present and spoke regarding his request. Five property owners in the area were present. Two spoke in opposition to the request, both were under the impression that the rezoning affected the property where they live, because of the notification line, that crossed their property. It was explained in great detail by the Chairman and Director of Community Development that it was for notification purposes only.  Motion carried, all voting aye.

DISCUSSION/ACTION FINAL REPLAT MEDICAL SURGICAL CLINIC ADDITION:

A motion was made by Commissioner Roy Pelton and seconded by Commissioner Pamela Clayton to approve request by SSMSC Real Estate, Inc. to replat property located on the North side of medical Plaza, South side of Medical Circle and East side of Medical Drive being further as Lot 1R, 2, pt. Lot 4, Block 409-2, into one lot.  Motion carried, all voting aye.

OTHER BUSINESS:

Johnny Vance advised Commission of several items on the agenda for next month.

A motion was made by Roy Pelton seconded by Gary Spraggins, to adjourn the regular meeting of October 18, 2004 at 7:35 P.M.. Motion carried, all voting aye.
