ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS AND APPEALS

MEETING MINUTES

NOVEMBER 16, 2004

Present:          ZBA Chairman Mike Blount, ZBA Vice Chairman Clayton McGraw, ZBA Member Hillary Young, ZBA Member Jonathan Cooper, ZBA Member Raymond Johnson, and ZBA Alternate James Hulen

Absent:           None.

Staff:               Travis Crump, Building Official, Gale Roberts, City Secretary

CALL MEETING TO ORDER:

ZBA Chairman Mike Blount called the meeting of the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Appeals to order at 5:30 p.m.

DISCUSSION/ACTION ZBA MINUTES OF SEPTEMBER 21, 2004:

A motion was made by Vice Chairman Clayton McGraw and seconded by Jonathan Cooper to approve the minutes of the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Appeals meeting held September 21, 2004 as presented.  Motion carried, all voting aye.

DISCUSSION/ACTION ZBA CASE NO. 041101:

A motion was made by Hillary Young and seconded by Jonathan Cooper to deny the request made by Don Tiegiser for a Special Use Permit for property located at 930 Main Street, being further described as Part of Lot 2 of Block 24-1, to locate a moveable storage container for the storage of telephone equipment and parts.  The motion carried, all voting aye.

With no other business before the Board, Chairman Mike Blount adjourned the meeting at 5:43 p.m.
