You have been invited to
participate in the bid process for a 7,400 SF open air,
multifunction structure for the City of Sulphur Springs, Texas. The
facility will serve, among other uses, as a farmer’s market, arts
and crafts pavilion and performance venue and is located between two
existing structures at 216 Main Street, Sulphur Springs, Texas
75482.
Hard copies may be obtained,
at your cost, from Thomas Reprographics, 15100 Addison Road,
Addison, Texas 75001 (tel: 972.726.8991) where copies will be held
on file for the bidding period duration.. Additional electronic
copies may be downloaded from the owner’s website at:
www.Sulphurspringstx.org/brightstarcenter.htm by following the
appropriate links to drawings and specifications. RFIs may be sent
to a special email account set up for this project at
2935BrightStar@akstexas.com. Additionally, plans will be filed
with Dodge Plan Room.
Bids are due by 2:00 on
Wednesday, 30 June, 2010 in the owner’s offices at the City of
Sulphur Springs, 125 South Davis, Sulphur Springs, Texas 75482. Due
to the numerous alternates identified in the plans and their impact
on the price and ultimate decision, the bid opening will be private
until such items can be evaluated and the owner has City Council
approval to proceed with the project. Approval is expected at the 6
July Council meeting.
