CALL WORKSHOP TO ORDER:

Planning and Zoning Chairman Brian Baier called the workshop of the Planning and Zoning Commission to order at 6:00 P.M.

DISCUSSION FOR DOWNTOWN REVITALIZATION

Topics discussed during the workshop were on Existing Conditions.  This pertained to Assets, Issues, Existing Character and Pedestrian and Traffic Circulation.

CALL REGULAR MEETING TO ORDER:

Planning and Zoning Chairman Brian Baier called the regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission to order at 7:05 P.M.

DISCUSSION/ACTION MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING HELD 03/21/05:

A motion was made by Gary Spraggins and seconded by Roy Pelton to approve the Planning and Zoning Meeting Minutes of March 21, 2005.  Motion carried, all voting aye.

DISCUSSION/ACTION ZBA CASE NO. 050401:

A request by Owner/Kimberly Roberts for a Special Use Permit for property located at 101 Radio Rd. Suite 22, being further described as Pt. Lot 1, Block 204-1 for the operation of a permanent cosmetic tattooing and body piercing shop. A motion was made by Gary Spraggins and seconded by Roy Pelton to approve with the stipulation that the cosmetic tattooing and body piercing only be conducted between the hours of 9:00 am till 8:00 pm.  Motion carried, all voting aye.

DISCUSSION/ACTION FINAL PLAT GREGG PRICE NO 1 ADDITION:

A motion was made by Gary Spraggins, seconded by Roy Pelton to approve a request by Owner /Gregg Price to replat property located at 1408 & 1412 S. Broadway, being further described as Lots 16 & 17, Block 210-1 into one single lot.  Motion carried, all voting aye.

DISCUSSION/ACTION FINAL PLAT GREGG PRICE NO 1 ADDITION:

A motion was made by Gary Spraggins, seconded by Roy Pelton to approve a request by Owner /Gregg Price to replat property located at 1602 & 1604 S. Broadway, being further described as Lots 12 & 13, Block 210-1 into one single lot.  This approval is contingent upon a Community Facilities Contract being signed.  Motion carried, all voting aye

ANY OTHER BUSINESS: 

Johnny advised the Commission that there would be several items on the agenda for next month.

A motion was made by Brian Baier and seconded by Gary Spraggins, to adjourn the meeting of April 18, 2005 at 7:30 P.M.. Motion carried, all voting aye.
