MEETING MINUTES JULY 18, 2006

CALL MEETING TO ORDER: ZBA Chairman Clayton McGraw called the meeting of the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Appeals to order at 5:30 P.M..
Oath of office was administered to newly appointed member David Watson and Alternate Claude Walter.
DISCUSSION/ACTION SELECTION ZBA CHAIRMAN: A motion was made by Joel Sheffield and seconded by Gary Stokes to appoint Clayton McGraw as Chairman. Motion carried, all voting aye.
DISCUSSION/ACTION SELECTION ZBA VICE CHAIRMAN: A motion was made by Gary Stokes and seconded by James Hulen to elect Joel Sheffield as Vice Chairman. Motion carried, all voting aye.
DISCUSSION/ACTION ZBA MEETING MINUTES OF APRIL 18, 2006: A motion was made by James Hulen and seconded by Gary Stokes to approve the ZBA Minutes of April 18, 2006. Motion carried, all voting aye.
DISCUSSION/ACTION ZBA CASE NO. V060701: A motion was made by James Hulen and seconded by David Watson to approve a request by David White for a variance to the front yard set back for property located at 1415 West Ave., being further described as Lot 32, Block 212. Motion carried, all voting aye.
DISCUSSION/ACTION ZBA CASE NO. VO60702: A motion was made by David Watson and seconded by Claude Walter to approve a request by George T. Singleton for a variance for property at 1118 Jefferson St., being further described as Lot 1, Block 305 to install a 4 ft. high chain link fence. Motion carried, all voting aye.
ANY OTHER BUSINESS: The Board was made aware of another variance request for next month.
ADJOURN: No other business before the Board, ZBA Chairman Clayton McGraw adjourned the meeting at 5:50 P.M.. |
