CITY OF SULPHUR SPRINGS ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS AND APPEALS MEETING MINUTES JULY 19, 2005
Present: ZBA Vice Chairman Clayton McGraw, ZBA Member Joel Sheffield and ZBA Member Raymond Johnson, ZBA Member Jonathan Cooper, ZBA Alternate Gary Stokes
Absent: ZBA Member James Hulen

OATH OF OFFICE Oath of Office was administered to Joel Sheffield and Gary Stokes.
CALL MEETING TO ORDER: ZBA Vice Chairman Clayton McGraw called the meeting of the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Appeals to order at 5:32 P.M.
DISCUSSION/ACTION SELECTION OF ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS CHAIRMAN A motion was made by Raymond Johnson and seconded by Gary Stokes to appoint Clayton McGraw as the new ZBA Chairman. Motion carried, all voting aye.
DISCUSSION/ACTION SELECTION OF ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS VICE CHAIRMAN A motion was made by Raymond Johnson and seconded by Joel Sheffield to appoint Jonathan Cooper as the new ZBA Vice Chairman. Motion carried, all voting aye.
DISCUSSION/ACTION ZBA MINUTES OF APRIL 19, 2005: A motion was made by Jonathan Cooper and seconded by Raymond Johnson to approve the minutes of the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Appeals meeting held April 19, 2005 as presented. Motion carried, all voting aye.
DISCUSSION/ACTION ZBA CASE NO. 050701: A motion was made by Joel Sheffield and seconded by Gary Stokes to approve the request made by Joe D. Clifton for a Special Use Permit for property at 1649 S. Broadway, being further described as Lot 2-10, Block 209-200 to locate a satellite office at this location to advertise portable buildings. The Zoning Board of Adjustments approved with the stipulations set forth by the Planning and Zoning Commission regarding that the Special Use Permit be good for one year from the date of issuance.
